Rachel Kolisi โ FALLING FORWARD
Official Documentary Screening Experience
Falling Forward is a deeply personal documentary that follows Rachel Kolisi through the defining seasons of her life, identity, loss, healing, motherhood, courage, and rediscovery. This exclusive screening invites audiences into her world with honesty and vulnerability, offering a rare look at the moments that shaped the woman she is today. The documentary is not about divorce, or public speculation; instead, it focuses on her personal journey and the quiet strength that has guided her forward.
At its core, Falling Forward explores the universal experience of falling and choosing to rise again. Through intimate storytelling, Rachel opens up about losing yourself, finding yourself, starting over, and discovering resilience in unexpected places. โWe all fall,โ she says. โBut how we choose to move forward is what defines us.โ
This warm and connective screening experience includes the full documentary, a women-led market where guests can support local female entrepreneurs, and an intimate fireside chat with Rachel, where she unpacks the themes of the documentary.
In March 2026, Falling Forward will travel across South Africa as part of a national roadshow, bringing this experience to Makhanda, Gqeberha (PE), Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
Falling Forward is not a story of ending; it is a story of becoming. It invites women to reflect on their own journeys, recognise their strength, and remember that forward motion often begins long before we feel ready.
